Barefoot Resort Golf Courses - Love Course

The Love Course at Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach shows off Davis Love's own southern heritage with its tribute to the lowcountry: the Love Course was built on top of recreated ruins of an old Myrtle Beach plantation home, adding historical charm to this popular, award-winning Myrtle Beach golf course.

The Love Course is a Par 72 and plays over 7000 yards. Love's design features wide open fairways, and generous landing areas and green complexes, similar to those found at the 1999 U.S. Open.

Barefoot's Love course is challenging, but playable and fun for the average golfer.

Love Course at barefoot Resort & GolfThe Love course's tee and fairways are GN-1, a hybrid turf developed by Greg Norman Turf. The approach areas are Tif-sport Bermuda grass, the greens surfaces are A-1 Bentgrass, and the rough areas are 419 Bermuda grass.
