Barefoot Resort Golf Courses - Dye Course

Dye CourseWith the Dye Course, Pete Dye has created a unique layout that is visually commanding and dotted with tricky challenges that will provide you and your group with a truly memorable round. Rated as one of the best courses in the country by Golf Digest, the Dye Course is a Par 72 course that measures 7343 yards. Hallmarks of the design include numerous pitfalls for errant shots (a classic Dye feature) and integration of native grasses and flora.

The Dye Course demands smart course management and play, but multiple sets of tees offer the chance for golfers of all abilities to enjoy a good round.

The Barefoot Resort Dye Course is the only semi-private course at Barefoot Resort and one of the only ones in all of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The Barefoot Resort Dye Course consistently ranks in the Top 3 of Myrtle Beach golf courses, and among the Top 10 public golf courses in America by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine.

Dye ClubhouseThe Dye Course has its own Clubhouse, beautifully appointed, with fantastic views of holes 9, 10 and 18. While the Clubhouse houses a private members-only area, all guests — including those on Myrtle Beach golf packages — can stop in to enjoy 19th hole cocktails or indulge in the fine dining.

Barefoot Dye fairways are GN-1 Bermuda grass, a hybrid developed by the corporation of Greg Norman Turf. Approaches are Tifdwarf Bermudagrass, and greens are L-93 Bentgrass.
